Lithium battery sites are being bought by quasi utility companies. Many cities are passing ordinances to discourage or outright outlaw siting these fire prone (and nearly impossible to extinguish) within their cities. King County has passed an ordinance allowing siting of these energy storage warehouses with very few limits on location or design safety. Please attend this meeting (or Zoom) on Tues.
