The county is proposing code revisions related to septic and certain other on-site sewage systems. The state has updated its requirements, and part of that process is that local governments update their standards to, at a minimum at least meet the state requirements. In addition to that King County is looking at updating this area of the county code.
Recently the public outreach/input part of the process is just getting underway. Now is the time to take a look and see what information you want from the county, or how you may want to participate in the adoption process.
